Tactical Takedown Operation
Operations menu > Tactical Takedown; the briefing identifies the compromised megaship and later rival headquarters or target location.
Before you go
- Odyssey access and Tactical Takedown listed in Operations.
- A ship prepared for combat and a way to dock at the marked megaship.
- On-foot combat gear and supplies appropriate to the selected difficulty.
- Engineering and squad support are useful for harder settings.
Farming steps
- Choose Tactical Takedown and review the briefing, difficulty and required stages.
- Travel to the compromised megaship and approach under fire; dock when the operation permits.
- Disembark and clear the first-floor objective, then protect the download while the operation's defenders respond.
- Follow the objective to the engineering deck and interact with the circuit breakers when prompted.
- Clear the next on-foot enemy wave and confirm the ship target location provided by the operation.
- Return to your ship, travel to the marked rival target and engage the general's ship while managing other hostiles.
- Complete the final objective and read the result panel for rewards and materials.
- Operations' on-foot stage is often the most punishing part of a hybrid run; bring suitable suit and weapon equipment.
- Keep the objective panel visible between stages so you do not leave before the download or breaker task registers.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat while the Operation is available. Reward levels depend on difficulty and run conditions, and Merc Coin can be reduced by repeated completions or after the weekly soft cap; check the current result rather than assuming a fixed return.
Common mistakes
- Flying away before the download and breaker objectives register; verify each stage is complete.
- Bringing only ship weapons; the route includes extended on-foot combat.
- Expecting full Merc Coin after repeated runs or beyond the weekly soft cap; compare the displayed payout before grinding further.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the final result panel confirms completion; if Merc Coin is your only goal, reconsider repeating after the weekly soft cap reduces returns.
