Amber is a region-gated material used in progression recipes. A focused Revelwood search can collect it while advancing mine and Shroud exploration.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Shrouded cliff faces and cave or mine passages in Revelwood.
Search Shrouded rock walls and mine passages in Revelwood for exposed amber, then mine what you can reach and return it to storage. Exact placements are sensitive to world changes, so use current terrain and landmarks rather than relying on early-access pit maps.
Amber location from Maki’s February 2024 map reference. Match the player marker and nearby cave/spire landmarks; the map predates later world expansions, so verify the deposit in your current world.Map legend

How to farm
Before you go
A pickaxe.
Access to Revelwood and a route into the relevant Shroud area.
Supplies for Shroud exposure and local threats.
Travel to Revelwood and identify Shrouded cliffs or mine entrances visible in your current world.
Check your Shroud survival margin and plan a clear retreat before entering a hazardous passage.
Inspect rock faces and accessible walls for visible amber deposits.
Mine exposed amber and collect the dropped material before searching farther.
Mark any productive location on your map to help with a later return.
Carry the amber home and store it for the progression recipes that require it.
Farming tips
Combine amber searching with other Revelwood objectives to make the hazardous trip more useful.
Treat old maps as clues only; 1.0 terrain and deposit placements may differ.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the search when more amber is needed and the relevant resources are available in your world. Do not assume one location provides a guaranteed fixed amount.
Common mistakes
Entering Shroud passages without an extraction plan: decide how you will leave before mining.
Trusting old early-access coordinates: verify the deposit in the current terrain.
Collecting without checking recipe needs: keep the material until the progression use is clear.
When to stop or switch
Stop when your current recipe requirement is met or your Shroud margin is low; return later rather than extending an unsafe run.
