WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Class 2 Hollow Outbreak signatures in highsec, lowsec, Pochven, and wormholes.

Class 2 Hollow Outbreaks appear in several kinds of space and allow eligible smaller ships beyond Tech I frigates. The site is more demanding than the entry tier, and space outside the site remains dangerous. Choose a hull whose gate eligibility and combat fit both suit the run; do not assume that access means the site is safe.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • An eligible Tech II frigate, Tech I destroyer, or smaller hull, as permitted by the gate.
  • A combat fit appropriate to a harder Blood Raider site.
  • Probe launcher and probes for signature scanning.
  • Enough cargo capacity to collect worthwhile loot without compromising escape options.
  1. Check the event activity listing for the Class 2 site and scan signatures in the regions where it appears.
  2. Resolve the signature and confirm that the result is a Class 2 Hollow Outbreak.
  3. Before warping, assess local pilots and directional scan; take extra care in lowsec and wormhole space.
  4. Enter only in a hull the gate accepts and clear the NPC waves at a range your fit can handle.
  5. Once combat is over, move through the Avalanche wreck area and collect loot you can safely carry.
  6. Warp out, secure the loot, and decide whether the local conditions justify another scan.

Farming tips

  • A smaller eligible hull may be easier to replace if the site or surrounding space becomes dangerous.
  • Keep directional scan checks in your routine; other pilots can reach the same site.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeat for additional signatures during the Crimson Harvest event, which runs through November 3, 2026. The event site is seasonal and should not be treated as permanent income.

Common mistakes

  • Assuming any destroyer qualifies: the gate lists specific hull limits; check eligibility before travel.
  • Entering without checking local: scout conditions first, especially outside highsec.
  • Staying to loot everything under threat: take the accessible value and leave if hostile activity approaches.

When to stop or switch

Stop if your ship’s tank or damage cannot comfortably handle the waves, local risk rises, or the event ends. Switch to Class 1 or a safer activity if the risk no longer fits your ship.
