WHERE & HOW TO FARM Where to farm Salira Freecreek, a D.I.R.T.Y. Field Scout at the Crossroads in The Commonlands.
This is the adventure branch of the Paths of Sedition prelude on EQII Live. It starts in Commonlands and follows an investigation through six zones. The prelude is progression content rather than an endlessly repeatable loot farm; use the journal to manage each stage and claim the rewards shown at turn-in.
Before you go Play on a Live server; this route does not cover special-rules task variants or beta content. Be able to reach The Commonlands. Have room in the quest journal for the prelude. Travel to the Crossroads in The Commonlands and speak with Salira Freecreek. Accept Down and D.I.R.T.Y.; choose “investigation” when offered the branch selection. Take Artifacts or Fiction and keep it active so its current zone and objective remain visible. Follow the quest journal through the named investigation zones, including Derelict Drain when assigned. Complete each marked encounter or investigation objective, then return to the indicated quest giver when the journal requests a turn-in. Continue through the adventure tasks until Operation: Faith Shaker and the chain’s final turn-in are complete. Review each reward at turn-in and claim it before leaving the quest sequence. Farming tips The prelude has eight adventure quests across six zones; track the active journal objective rather than assuming a fixed travel order. The Tiny Tavern’s Live summary says each character can do only one of the adventure and tradeskill branches, and both end at Operation: Faith Shaker. Repeat, collect and use One-time character progression; complete the branch once for its visible quest rewards. It is not a repeatable farming loop.
Common mistakes Choosing “prepare” starts the crafting branch; choose “investigation” for this route. Treating the prelude as a permanent repeat farm wastes travel; finish the chain and switch to another activity afterward. Leaving a stage before its requested turn-in can make the next step unclear; check the journal after each objective. When to stop or switch Stop after the final adventure turn-in and reward claim. If the character already completed the alternate branch, move to another Live goal.
