Travel to The Commonlands and follow the specific ghost-hunting objectives shown in the quest.
Complete each objective and check the journal for credit before moving on.
Return to the NPC or location named by the quest and turn it in.
Claim the reward shown in the client and confirm completion.
If the quest remains repeatable and its reward is useful, accept it again and repeat the listed route.

Calcified skeletons also spawn in Commonlands during the event, but do not assume they count for Ghost Hunter unless the journal says so.
Compare the displayed reward with your current goal before repeating.

Assuming skeleton kills satisfy a ghost objective can waste effort; follow the quest’s named target list.
