Before you go
- Live server access to Paths of Sedition.
- Choose the adventure branch through Salira Freecreek in Commonlands.
- Keep the active investigation quest in your journal.
Farming steps
- Find Salira Freecreek at the Crossroads in The Commonlands and accept Down and D.I.R.T.Y.
- Choose “investigation” and accept Artifacts or Fiction for the adventure route.
- Progress through the quest stages until the journal names Derelict Drain as the next destination.
- Travel there using the access and directions currently shown by the quest; do not assume a separate entrance or waypoint.
- Complete the objective markers and encounters the journal assigns inside or around the location.
- Return items or report completion to the named NPC when the journal requests it.
- Claim the stage reward shown at turn-in, then follow the next journal objective to continue the larger chain.
- Derelict Drain is part of the broader multi-zone sequence; the journal is the reliable way to know when it becomes active.
- Keep enough inventory space for any quest objects the stage asks you to collect.
Repeat, collect and use
This is a one-time quest stage for the character’s selected adventure branch, not an independently repeatable collection farm.
Common mistakes
- Traveling there before the quest assigns it may not advance progress; wait for the journal objective.
- Looking for an undocumented collectible drop can waste time; complete only the marked quest objective.
- Leaving before turning in the requested objective can stall progression; check the journal before moving on.
