Before you go
- Uranium ore from powered drills supplied with sulfuric acid.
- Centrifuges and electricity.
- Separate routes and storage for U-235 and U-238.
Farming steps
- Establish acid-fed uranium mining and carry ore to the processing area.
- Configure centrifuges for uranium processing.
- Route U-235 and U-238 into separate stores or consumers.
- Check stock and decide whether fuel-cell or ammunition production is the immediate need.
- Keep ordinary processing running while required isotope reserves build.
- Start Kovarex only after its required stock is available and the process is researched.
- Monitor both stores and redirect output as demand changes.
- Treat U-235 as stock to accumulate before enrichment, not an assured immediate supply.
- Keep U-238 available for recipes or enrichment that require it.
Repeat, collect and use
Ordinary processing repeats while ore and power are supplied; enrichment repeats when its requirements and inputs are met.
Common mistakes
- Starting Kovarex before enough U-235 is available; build the needed reserve first.
- Mixing isotopes in one store; keep outputs separate.
- Sending ore to a furnace; centrifuges are the processing step.
When to stop or switch
Pause enrichment if its stock needs conflict with other production; continue ordinary processing when more isotopes are needed.
