WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

A friend’s multiplayer farm, using the host’s permission and the ready markers on their plots.

Co-op work is most useful when the host identifies a specific need before visitors act. Agree on which rows or animals are in scope, then harvest, water, plant, or feed only as requested. The farm owner controls the layout and benefits from the farm’s output, so coordinate before changing fields.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Join a multiplayer farm where visitors are allowed to help.
  • Ask the host which crop, animal, fish, or quest resource needs attention.
  • Know which rows or areas are assigned to you.
  1. Join the friend’s farm and check in with the host before interacting with plots.
  2. Agree on a concrete task, such as harvesting a named crop row or watering a planted block.
  3. Locate the assigned area and verify its markers match the requested activity.
  4. Perform only the agreed action, leaving other rows and layout decisions to the host.
  5. Tell the host when the task is complete and ask whether another area needs help.
  6. If the host uses Town services for visitor rewards such as Favor, follow the in-game interface to spend it.
  7. End the session after the farm’s agreed work is finished.

Farming tips

  • Avoid planting or replacing crops without the host’s direction; the farm may be timed around a different goal.
  • A focused harvest or watering assignment is easier to verify than roaming across the farm.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeat whenever the host invites help and has a task. Each co-op session’s scope is limited by the farm owner’s needs and permissions.

Common mistakes

  • Harvesting unassigned crops; confirm the target area first.
  • Changing the host’s layout or plantings without agreement; ask before altering farm plans.
  • Assuming a visitor owns the farm output; coordinate with the owner about where harvested resources go.

When to stop or switch

Stop when the host confirms the requested area is complete or there are no more assigned tasks.
