Raising Crop Levels for Better Harvest Income

Repeated crop harvests can increase that crop’s level and improve money earned from its harvests.

PC / Global, full release (May 30, 2025)
WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

A high-volume row or block of a crop you have unlocked and can plant in the current season.

If you regularly grow one crop, repeated harvest sessions can raise its crop level. The benefit supported here is higher money per harvest; level increases do not multiply experience or crop resource amounts. Use this as a focused income routine only when the crop is seasonally available and its seed cost fits your farm plan.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Unlock a crop and confirm it is eligible to plant now.
  • Have seed funds and a repeatable area for that crop.
  • Know whether your goal is cash, experience, or a resource delivery.
  1. Choose one crop you are willing to grow across multiple sessions.
  2. Check its season and plant a manageable block on plowed tiles.
  3. Water the crop if faster growth fits your play session.
  4. Harvest when ready and note the crop’s current level and money return in-game.
  5. Replant the same crop during eligible seasons to continue building its level.
  6. Set aside any required resource amount before selling the harvest.
  7. Use the improved money return for your next farm purchase if it advances your plan.

Farming tips

  • Choose a crop you can actually replant; seasonal restrictions can interrupt a level routine.
  • Compare the in-game money result rather than assuming level changes resource or XP output.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeat across eligible planting and harvest cycles. Crop level is an ongoing progression target, while each planting is a separate growth cycle.

Common mistakes

  • Expecting level increases to add XP or resource quantity; the recorded benefit is harvest money.
  • Planting when the crop is out of season; check eligibility each cycle.
  • Selling stock needed for a quest to maximize cash; reserve exact delivery amounts first.

When to stop or switch

Switch crops if you need a different quest resource or the current season no longer permits planting; stop the income routine when its cash goal is met.
