Before you go
- Unlock and buy the tree type you want to grow.
- Leave unplowed land available for the trees.
- Identify the tree’s fruiting season and a use for its output.
Farming steps
- Open the tree list and select a fruit tree that supports a current quest or production need.
- Place it on open land, separate from plowed crop rows.
- Let the tree grow; trees do not need watering.
- Check the season display as the tree’s fruiting season approaches.
- When fruit is ready, harvest it before the season ends.
- Reserve any requested amount for Town deliveries or a processor, then use or sell the surplus.
- Organize trees by fruiting season so you can inspect the relevant rows quickly.
- A missed season does not permanently remove the tree, but you must wait for its next matching season to collect fruit.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat each matching season. This is a recurring seasonal harvest, not a continuous all-season output.
Common mistakes
- Watering trees as if they were crop tiles; save that effort for crops and flowers.
- Leaving ripe fruit until after the season turns; harvest before the display changes.
- Planting without checking the tree’s season; confirm the timing before committing land.
When to stop or switch
Harvest all ready fruit before the season rolls over, then switch attention to crops or trees that are currently productive.
