WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Barn and Coop on the farm after their building progression and livestock setup.
Animal production begins after the appropriate town-rank and Carpenter progression unlocks a barn or coop. Place livestock in its correct housing, follow the care menu, and collect its product when ready. Animal goods are useful beyond income: keep first copies for collection and requests, and use surplus for available recipes or processing.
Town-rank and Carpenter progress for the required barn or coop.
Livestock from an available seller and access to its correct housing.
Feed and time for the daily care routine; inventory space for products.
Check which building is unlocked and construct the appropriate barn or coop through the available Carpenter progression.
Purchase livestock from the available seller and place it in the matching building.
Read the animal care menu and provide the required feed and interaction each day.
Make care part of the morning route before using remaining stamina elsewhere.
Inspect the animal and collect milk, eggs, or another ready product when available.
Store first copies for Museum, request, or recipe needs.
Process or ship duplicates once those reservations are covered.
Farming tips
Barn and coop access depends on town rank and Carpenter story progress, so plan it as a progression goal.
Daily care fits best into the same morning routine as crop watering and harvesting.
Repeat, collect and use
Animal care and product collection are recurring while livestock is housed and properly cared for. Building access and obtaining animals are progression-limited steps.
Common mistakes
Putting an animal in unsuitable housing prevents the intended setup; match species to building.
Skipping required feed or interaction undermines the daily production routine; check the care menu.
Shipping all products can leave no item for a request or recipe; reserve first copies.
When to stop or switch
Keep the daily loop while the animal’s products support a current goal; pause expansion when feed, care time, or building access is the constraint.
