Where to farm
Surface ponds, rivers, and ocean around Mistria; the Eastern Road pond is a Spring location for Cherry Fish.
Fishing works by matching a target to its water and conditions. Ponds, rivers, and ocean are distinct, while season, weather, shadow size, and some mine-floor restrictions narrow the eligible catch. Terithia’s letter unlocks the Fishing Rod. Start with one clear target, then retain first copies for the Museum or active requests.
Target information for season, weather, water type, and shadow size.
Inventory space for catches and any spare first-copy items.
Choose a fish from an incomplete Museum set, request, or recipe and note its conditions.
Travel to the specified water type; do not substitute a river or ocean for a pond.
For Cherry Fish, use the Eastern Road pond during windy Spring weather and target a small shadow.
Cast and use the shadow size to focus on eligible fish; repeat casts only while the conditions match.
Keep the first required catch separate from shipping stock.
Donate or deliver the reserved fish, then check whether more are needed for cooking or requests.
Sell or store remaining catches after confirming their uses.
Farming tips
A matching season does not compensate for the wrong water; location is part of the fish’s conditions.
Check the weather before making a special trip for a weather-dependent catch.
Repeat, collect and use
Fishing can be repeated, but particular species are limited by their conditions. A missed seasonal or weather window means waiting for another eligible opportunity.
Common mistakes
Casting at any nearby water for a target fish wastes time; match pond, river, or ocean exactly.
Ignoring the shadow size makes casts less targeted; select shadows that match the target size.
Selling a first catch before donation may require another matching trip; reserve it first.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the needed Museum, request, or recipe quantity is caught; if weather or season no longer matches, switch to an available fish or another activity.
