Mine Copper

Copper from the early Mines supports progression and tool work, helping improve the farm and access deeper mine routes.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Shallow elevator floors in the Mines beneath Mistria, after the town-rank and story unlock.

Use shallow mine floors to collect copper while learning the elevator loop. Copper is an early resource, but it competes with other uses: check the next tool upgrade or progression need before selling or spending your stock. Take a sustainable run, reveal exits, and return to the deepest floor you have opened on later visits.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Mines access through the town-rank/story progression.
  • Pickaxe, food, and combat supplies appropriate to the floors you can reach.
  • Inventory space for ore and any artifacts or other finds.
  1. Before leaving, check which tool or mine progression needs copper and keep that amount in storage.
  2. Enter the Mines and use the elevator to reach an available shallow floor.
  3. Break visible copper nodes with the pickaxe, collecting the ore and noting any hazards or blocked paths.
  4. Explore enough of the floor to locate its exit or elevator access instead of spending the whole run on one node cluster.
  5. Descend through reachable floors while stamina, health, and time remain manageable.
  6. Use available town processing or the appropriate crafting route for copper you need in an upgrade.
  7. On a later visit, take the elevator back to an opened floor band and collect additional copper.

Farming tips

  • Keep upgrade copper separate from surplus so a shipping decision does not delay tool progression.
  • Food and a planned exit make a short productive run safer than pushing until resources are depleted.

Repeat, collect and use

Copper collection is repeatable on accessible mine floors. Each visit can replenish your stock; the useful target changes as tool and seal requirements are met.

Common mistakes

  • Selling all copper can strand an upgrade; reserve the amount required by your next known goal.
  • Pushing deeper without enough health or stamina risks losing the run; leave while you can still reach an exit.
  • Breaking nodes without checking inventory space can waste a trip; make room before entering.

When to stop or switch

Stop farming copper when the next planned upgrade and progression needs are covered; move to the newly accessible ore band or spend the day on a different goal.
