- Level 100 Botanist and access to Shaaloani.
- Collectable gathering unlocked.
- Home World access for timed nodes.
Farming steps
- Look up Rarefied Acacia Log in the Gathering Log and note the next Eorzean-time window.
- Check current appraiser acceptance or confirm a recipe that needs the log.
- Reach Shaaloani before the window and activate Truth of Forests if needed.
- Locate the unspoiled node and select Rarefied Acacia Log, not another acacia entry.
- Use collectable actions while checking predicted rating and remaining GP.
- Gather only the amount needed for the selected reward tier or recipe stock.
- Appraise accepted turn-ins; retain the quantity reserved for crafting and use it in the confirmed recipe.
- Acacia Bark is another listed target in the zone and window; confirm the item label before gathering.
- A rarefied item is not necessarily a current turn-in, so verify the appraiser listing each session.
