Before you go

Farming steps

  1. Open the Adventurer Handbook, choose Whopperflower from the enemy list, and navigate to a listed target.
  2. Travel to its marked location, defeat the Whopperflower, and collect any Nectar it drops.
  3. Track another Handbook target and repeat until the visible listed group is cleared.
  4. Check nearby Sweet Flowers and other gatherables carefully; a disguised Whopperflower may reveal itself as you approach.
  5. For more targets, use a Mondstadt or Liyue route map to find additional groups beyond those currently listed in the Handbook.
  6. Review your Nectar inventory and use an alchemy bench to craft three lower-tier items into one of the next tier as needed.
  7. Use the resulting Nectar in the intended character or weapon upgrade screen.

Repeat, collect and use

Whopperflowers are repeatable field enemies and can be hunted again after their normal enemy reset. The Handbook can navigate to discovered undisguised targets, while disguised encounters require local exploration; each next-tier craft consumes three lower-tier Nectar.

Common mistakes

  • Treating Handbook results as a complete list: add mapped groups and cautious checks of suspicious gatherables.
  • Attacking an apparent flower without checking the encounter: approach carefully to reveal a possible disguised enemy.
  • Expecting a single low-tier Nectar to craft upward: collect three lower-tier items for each next-tier item.

When to stop or switch

Stop when the required Nectar tiers are sufficient or the currently tracked and mapped groups are cleared; resume after enemies return if you still need more.
