Field route and alchemy
Fatui groups are spread across Teyvat. The current mapped route covers Paha Island, Renpo Island, and Heishi Island, with an additional Luna 4 map; regional routes also exist in older nations.

Before you go
- Access the region and waypoints for the groups you plan to clear.
- For the upper Paha Island target Raskolnikov, complete the world quest “A Child of the Shoe Maker Is Always Barefoot!”
- Bring a party that can defeat the Fatui enemy types shown in the route.
Farming steps
- Choose a region where you need materials and open its route map in your planning view.
- On Paha Island, begin with the mapped ground groups and continue through the marked island route.
- Check the upper-level Paha target separately; Raskolnikov is quest-gated.
- If approaching the sealed-gate group, defeat the patrolling Landcruiser that opens access to it.
- Continue through the mapped Renpo Island and Heishi Island groups when available.
- Collect the drops and review which Insignia tier your upgrade requires.
- At an alchemy bench, craft three Recruit’s Insignias into one Sergeant’s, then three Sergeant’s into one Lieutenant’s.
- Use the resulting tier in the character or weapon upgrade menu.
- The mapped counts describe enemy placements, not guaranteed material yields.
- Leave quest-locked or sealed groups for later rather than searching repeatedly for inaccessible enemies.
Repeat, collect and use
Enemy groups return after the game’s normal enemy reset. Route access may remain limited by quests or region progression.
Common mistakes
- Expecting each enemy to drop the desired tier: treat drops as variable and use alchemy to bridge tiers.
- Going to the upper Paha target before its quest: unlock the named quest first.
- Skipping the Landcruiser near the sealed gate: defeat it to open that group’s access.
When to stop or switch
Stop when your upgrade inventory meets its Insignia requirements, or when the route’s remaining groups are inaccessible in your current world state.
