Before you go
- Advance “Everwinter Without Mercy” until the boss arena is accessible.
- Have Original Resin available for the world-boss reward claim.
- Bring a party suited to the boss encounter.
Farming steps
- Continue the named main story quest until it opens access to the Chimeric Winged Lion arena.
- Travel to the arena using the newly available route or waypoint.
- Start the encounter and defeat the boss.
- Approach the reward blossom after the fight.
- Claim the reward with Original Resin.
- Check the inventory for the boss material and other ascension drops.
- Use the collected material in the relevant character’s progression menu.
- If the boss marker is unavailable, return to the quest progression rather than searching for an unopen arena.
- Check the reward inventory after each claim; the specific material yield is not stated as guaranteed.
Repeat, collect and use
The boss can be challenged repeatedly after the normal respawn, but each reward claim costs Resin. The arena remains dependent on story access.
Common mistakes
- Searching for the boss before the quest opens its arena: progress the named quest first.
- Leaving without claiming: Resin is required to collect the reward.
- Treating a boss defeat as a guaranteed exact material count: verify the inventory.
When to stop or switch
Stop once the target character’s boss-material requirement is met or when you want to spend Resin elsewhere.
