This is a post-game bonus-reward loop: identify the mission’s required target sequence, clear the relevant Aragami, and confirm the reward on the results screen. Bonus Arcs remain random skill drops.
Before you go Complete the story and unlock Assault Punishment. Choose a mission whose reward conditions identify the relevant bonus Arc opportunity. Bring a loadout capable of handling the mission’s required Aragami sequence. Open the Assault Punishment mission list and select an encounter with an Adaptive Aragami plus other Aragami. Read the mission details so you know which regular Aragami must be defeated to trigger the Adaptive target. Prepare equipment for the listed enemies and carry recovery items appropriate to your usual hunt. Launch and defeat the required regular Aragami first. Engage and defeat the Adaptive target after it becomes available. Finish the mission and inspect the reward screen for bonus Abandoned Arcs. Review skill compatibility at the hub and repeat the mission if you need more candidates. Farming tips The bonus is tied to mission conditions; verify the actual mission details instead of assuming every Assault Punishment entry works the same way. Use a manageable encounter that you can clear consistently, since a failed run yields no completed reward screen. Repeat, collect and use Repeat eligible Assault Punishment missions while you want Arc candidates. The reward is a repeatable mission bonus, not a fixed skill drop.
Common mistakes Ignoring the condition order: defeat the required Aragami that triggers the Adaptive target. Assuming every mission grants +1: check the specific mission and its bonus conditions.
