Proud quest “The Tale of Bahamut’s Rage,” fought on the Grandcypher Deck against Proto Bahamut.

The Tale of Bahamut’s Rage is the documented Terminus drop activity. The weapon is a random reward, and the eligible pool is tied to recruited characters, so this is a repeat farm rather than a single guaranteed unlock. Check the current weapon and quest interfaces before committing to a long farm, especially across editions with newer systems.

How to farm

Before you go

  • Reach Proud difficulty and unlock The Tale of Bahamut’s Rage.
  • Recruit the character whose weapon you hope can appear.
  • Build a party capable of completing the quest’s objective and protecting the critical gauge.
  1. Open the Proud quest list and select The Tale of Bahamut’s Rage.
  2. Review the current reward preview and confirm the desired weapon remains eligible.
  3. Equip your reliable damage, defense, and objective-support Sigils.
  4. Fight Proto Bahamut and respond to the encounter’s critical-gauge objective.
  5. Complete the quest and claim all reward chests.
  6. Inspect weapon rewards and keep any Terminus Weapon that drops.
  7. Repeat the quest if you still need eligible character weapons.

Farming tips

  • Recruit characters before farming, since only recruited characters’ weapons are in the drop pool.
  • Use the current game interface to check acquisition options in your installed edition.
