WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Open ground around X 9316, Y 14335 in Brookhollow Park, where multiple Bombardier Beetles are reported.
A known stretch of Brookhollow Park has multiple Bombardier Beetles, so plan to isolate one rather than provoke the group. Defeating one yields a carcass to harvest for Bombardier Parts and Boiling Glands. Early Access balance and creature behavior may shift, so approach carefully and use the first gland to reveal its current crafting information.
Combat equipment and healing appropriate to your character’s current progression.
A weapon you can use reliably against a beetle.
Ranger Outpost access to analyze a first Boiling Gland.
Inventory space for creature materials.
Travel to the open stretch near X 9316, Y 14335 and scan the area before engaging.
Choose a beetle separated from the others; avoid starting a fight in the middle of the group.
Draw that beetle onto open ground so you have room to move.
Watch its rear and evade when it raises it to fire an acid glob.
Attack between its ranged attacks and back away when you need to recover or reposition.
After the beetle is defeated, harvest its carcass and collect the parts and any gland it yields.
Take the first gland to a Ranger Outpost analyser, then check its revealed uses before spending the rest.
Farming tips
The location is noted for multiple beetles, so patience in choosing a target is safer than rushing in.
Use open ground to preserve room to dodge the acid attack.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat against another beetle when the area is safe and targets are available. Boiling Glands are drops, so do not plan around a guaranteed gland from every kill.
Common mistakes
Engaging several beetles at once; isolate one before attacking.
Standing still when the beetle raises its rear; dodge the acid glob and re-engage afterward.
Spending the first gland without research; analyze it at an outpost first.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have the parts and glands required for your current recipes, or leave if multiple beetles converge and you cannot safely separate them.
