WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
At a base with a Grinder and Oven; gather mushrooms from large toadstools and mushroom nodes around Brookhollow Park.
Mushroom Brick production is a base-processing loop: gather mushrooms, grind them into slurry, then bake the slurry into bricks. The documented recipe uses one Mushroom per Mushroom Slurry at a Grinder and five Mushroom Slurry per Mushroom Brick at an Oven. This makes the topic distinct from simply gathering mushrooms for food. Grounded 2 Early Access recipes may change, so check station recipes in your current build before loading a large batch.
Collect mushrooms from visible ground sources and larger mushroom growths or nodes.
Bring the haul to your base and keep enough mushrooms aside for food or research needs.
Load mushrooms into the Grinder using its current Mushroom Slurry recipe.
Collect the resulting slurry and move it to the Oven.
Use the Oven recipe that consumes five Mushroom Slurry to make Mushroom Bricks.
Collect the finished bricks and store them with construction materials.
Check the station output and remaining slurry before deciding whether another batch is worthwhile.
Farming tips
Place storage near the Grinder and Oven to reduce carrying between stages.
Research unfamiliar mushroom materials before committing a rare supply to processing.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the gathering and processing chain whenever you have spare mushrooms and need bricks. Production is limited by available mushrooms and station access.
Common mistakes
Putting slurry directly into the Grinder; mushrooms become slurry there, while the Oven makes bricks.
Starting the Oven batch without five slurry; accumulate the recipe amount first.
Processing every mushroom needed for food; reserve a practical supply before refining.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have the bricks required for the current build or the mushroom reserve is better used for food and other recipes.
