- No combat tool is needed to collect a visible drop.
- A little inventory capacity for occasional Honeydew.
- A separate water or food plan for longer trips.
Farming steps
- Leave the Snackbar Outpost along nearby grassy paths during routine travel.
- Watch the ground behind aphids as they move through the grass.
- Check the surrounding ground when an aphid has passed, looking for Honeydew.
- Pick up any Honeydew you find rather than chasing an aphid far from your route.
- Use it to restore some thirst and hunger when either meter needs a small boost.
- Continue to collect dew droplets or cooked food as your main provisions.
- Treat Honeydew as a bonus because drops are occasional.
- Combine this search with ordinary travel so the pickup does not become a detour.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the check whenever you pass through aphid habitat. Honeydew is an occasional drop and cannot be farmed at a guaranteed rate.
Common mistakes
- Relying on Honeydew as your only food or water; carry dependable provisions too.
