Plant Slurry for Critter Lures
Grinder at your base for production; carry the finished slurry to the habitat of the critter you want to attract.
Before you go
- Grinder with Plant Slurry production available.
- Plant Fiber gathered from ground cover.
- Inventory space to carry slurry.
- A target habitat where the intended critter can be encountered.
Farming steps
- Collect Plant Fiber during a central Grasslands sweep, preserving some for basic crafting.
- Return to the Grinder and place the fiber into the machine.
- Collect the resulting Plant Slurry from the Grinder.
- Pack only the amount you intend to use on the outing.
- Travel to the relevant creature habitat and place/use slurry according to the in-game interaction.
- Wait and observe whether the intended critter responds; the lure is an attraction aid, not a guaranteed spawn.
- Repeat with another small batch only if you still need to attract critters.
- Produce slurry shortly before a planned lure trip so it does not occupy general inventory unnecessarily.
- Check in-game item and interaction prompts at the habitat to confirm the lure is applicable there.
Repeat, collect and use
This is repeatable while you have Plant Fiber; each cycle is gather, grind, carry, and use. Attraction outcomes can vary, so do not count on a guaranteed creature.
Common mistakes
- Using all fiber for slurry: keep a reserve for crafting.
- Carrying raw Plant Fiber expecting it to act as the lure: process it in the Grinder first.
- Assuming every critter responds: use the slurry for a suitable target habitat and verify the interaction.
When to stop or switch
Stop after the intended attraction attempt or when you have enough critter access for your task; return to fiber gathering only if another batch is needed.
