WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Mushroom Chunks for Mushroom Bricks
Large Toadstool nodes in the upper yard, including the patch near the Undershed entrance.
Before you go
- An axe of the chopping tier required by the selected Toadstool node.
- Grinder to process chunks into Mushroom Slurry.
- Oven and access to the Mushroom Brick recipe chain.
- Food, water, and combat gear for the upper-yard route.
Farming steps
- Travel to an upper-yard Toadstool patch near the Undershed entrance.
- Inspect the large node and check that your axe can harvest it.
- Chop the node and gather the Mushroom Chunks from around it.
- Carry the chunks to your base and put them through the Grinder to make Mushroom Slurry.
- Use the Oven to bake the slurry into Mushroom Bricks.
- Store the bricks for construction or spend them on the building recipe you planned.
- Unlock the relevant Oven recipe chain before hauling chunks home.
- Use the node's required chopping tool; a hammer is not a substitute for harvesting it.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the node run when you need more chunks, then process each batch through the Grinder and Oven. Do not assume a particular node has a fixed supply between visits.
Common mistakes
- Traveling with an axe below the node's required tier: verify the tool against the selected Toadstool first.
- Collecting chunks without production stations ready: the brick chain needs both a Grinder and Oven.
- Using a hammer on the node: bring the proper chopping tool.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have enough Mushroom Bricks for the planned build; switch to another material farm if your current construction recipe needs different inputs.
