The Homestead collection box is a claim point for output gathered by resource nodes placed in your Homestead. Visit the box, check what it currently holds, collect the available materials, and sort them into inventory or storage for a recipe or project. The output depends on which nodes you have placed and what the box displays at the time of collection. It supplements active open-world gathering; it does not collect materials from nodes you have not placed.
Before you go Access to the Homestead feature through an eligible expansion. Resource nodes placed in the Homestead for the box to gather from. Inventory space or storage capacity for collected materials. A crafting or material target for using the output. Travel to your Homestead and locate the automated collection box. Interact with it and review the accumulated output in the interface. Check inventory or storage capacity before claiming materials. Collect the available output through the box interaction. Inspect inventory and storage to confirm what was collected. Deposit surplus materials or reserve the items required by a recipe or project. Use the materials in crafting, then return when the box shows more output. Farming tips Place resource nodes in the Homestead if you want them to contribute to the box’s output. Check the current contents instead of planning around an unverified quantity or schedule. Repeat, collect and use Repeat collection whenever the box shows output available. The box’s displayed contents are the reliable measure of what can be claimed.
Common mistakes Expecting output with no relevant nodes placed: add resource nodes before relying on collection. Planning around a specific quantity: inspect the box before crafting. Leaving collected materials unsorted: deposit surplus and reserve items for the intended recipe. When to stop or switch Stop when the box is empty or the material target is met; return when more output appears and use active gathering for any shortfall.
