Where to farm
Iron ore deposits in Rifts of Thessaly on the Surface route; mine them with the Crescent Pick.
Iron deposits are found in Rifts of Thessaly on the Surface route, beyond City of Ephyra. Unlock the Crescent Pick to mine them; all unlocked gathering tools are active automatically, so there is no need to equip the pick for the run. Check the Crossroads requirement before setting out, then inspect the chambers you reach in the Rifts for visible veins. The route is specific to Iron, unlike the earlier Ephyra search for Bronze, but room-level deposit appearances are variable. Bring the collected ore back and apply it to the planned recipe or upgrade before deciding whether another run is needed.
Unlock the Surface route and progress through Ephyra to Rifts of Thessaly.
Unlock the Crescent Pick in the Crossroads gathering tools.
Confirm a current recipe or upgrade calls for Iron.
Start a Surface run and advance through City of Ephyra toward the Rifts.
When you enter a Rifts chamber, scan accessible edges and paths for Iron deposits.
Clear nearby threats when they block access to a visible vein.
Interact with each deposit to mine Iron using the Crescent Pick.
Check the rest of the chamber before taking its exit.
Continue through the Rifts and repeat the scan in rooms you reach.
Return to the Crossroads and spend Iron on the selected recipe or upgrade.
Farming tips
Do not stop at Ephyra when Iron is the target; continue along the Surface route into the Rifts.
A room scan is a check for possible deposits, not a promise of a vein in every chamber.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat Surface progress to the Rifts while Iron is still required. Deposit appearances vary by room, so collect visible ore without expecting a fixed quantity. Use the haul for the selected Crossroads requirement, then check whether Iron remains the limiting material.

Stopping in Ephyra while seeking Iron: continue to Rifts of Thessaly.
Searching for a hand-pickable plant: Iron is an ore deposit mined with the Crescent Pick.
