Where to farm
Fishing points that appear in chambers during an escape attempt; collect the catch and check the run’s resource results afterward.
Fishing is an occasional side activity during Underworld runs, and a catch can award Chthonic Keys. It is a variable, limited opportunity rather than a dependable replacement for choosing a Key-marked chamber. Use it when a fishing point appears naturally, then spend any Keys on the weapons or Mirror options you still need.
Start an escape attempt and reach chambers where a fishing point may appear.
Have access to the fishing interaction when a point is available.
Keep a Chthonic Key unlock or other planned Key use in mind.
Continue a normal escape attempt and watch cleared chambers for a fishing point.
Approach the point and interact when the fishing prompt becomes available.
Complete the fishing interaction and collect the catch.
Continue the run; fishing points and their rewards are not guaranteed.
After returning to the House, check the Keys added to your resources.
Spend the Keys on a planned weapon unlock or Mirror option when available.
Farming tips
Treat a fishing point as a bonus: chamber choices remain the more direct way to target Keys.
Keep track of your intended Key purchase so a small catch contributes to a clear account goal.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat across later escape attempts whenever a fishing point appears. Each point is a one-time opportunity, and neither a point nor a Key reward is guaranteed in a run.
Common mistakes
Expecting a fishing point in every chamber; continue normal runs and use direct Key rewards when available.
Assuming every catch awards Keys; check the resource result before planning a purchase around it.
Spending newly earned Keys without a target; reserve them for an intended unlock if that is your current bottleneck.
When to stop or switch
Stop treating fishing as a Key target once your planned unlock is funded, or switch to Key-marked chamber rewards if you need Keys more predictably.
