The Bone Hydra in Asphodel is the next boss bounty source for a weapon’s eligible Heat progression. Diamonds are tied to the weapon and target Heat, so check the Pact before committing to the run. Use the reward for a planned Contractor job rather than treating every Hydra victory as a fresh Diamond payout.
Before you go Unlock the Pact by winning an escape attempt. Have a pending Bone Hydra bounty for the chosen Infernal Arm. Set Heat to the arm’s current target or higher. Select the Infernal Arm whose bounty you want to advance. Check the Pact display for that weapon’s pending Hydra reward and Heat target. Choose a valid combination of Pact conditions to reach the target. Start the escape attempt and clear Tartarus to reach Asphodel. Defeat the Bone Hydra and collect the Diamond if the bounty is active. Return to the House and spend the Diamond on a Contractor goal that fits your progression. Farming tips Raise Heat after the prior bounty is complete; replaying the same target does not reset the reward. Plan the Diamond’s use before spending it, since Contractor jobs compete for account resources. Repeat, collect and use Repeatable for later eligible Heat steps and separately for each weapon’s bounty track.
Common mistakes Starting below the target Heat; verify the Pact setup before leaving the House. Expecting a Diamond from a weapon’s already-claimed Heat; advance its bounty progression. Confusing an ordinary boss clear with an eligible bounty clear; check the weapon-specific target. When to stop or switch Stop when the Hydra bounty is collected for that weapon and target; move to the next Heat step or a different weapon.
