Before you go
- Obtain Nectar from a run or another reward.
- Meet an eligible character and have access to gifting.
- Identify a Keepsake that supports your upcoming run plan.
Farming steps
- Return to the House after collecting Nectar.
- Find the character whose first gift you want to make and interact with them.
- Choose the Nectar gift option and confirm the gift.
- Open the Keepsake cabinet and check that the new Keepsake is available.
- Select that Keepsake before beginning a later escape attempt.
- After using it, reassess whether to collect further Nectar for another character or affinity.
- The first gift to most characters grants the Keepsake; later gifts are relationship progress rather than another Keepsake unlock.
- Prioritize a Keepsake that helps with your planned boon, survival, or run consistency.
Repeat, collect and use
Each character’s first Keepsake gift is a one-time unlock; collecting Nectar and gifting it to other characters can continue.
Common mistakes
- Expecting a Keepsake from every later Nectar gift; the first-gift unlock is the key milestone.
- Forgetting to equip the unlocked item; select it at the cabinet before departure.
- Spending Nectar without choosing a target; keep enough for the character whose Keepsake is next useful.
When to stop or switch
Stop targeting first-gift unlocks when the Keepsakes you want are collected; use later Nectar for affinity or another planned purpose.
