Sisyphus chamber Darkness
A useful optional Darkness pickup when the encounter appears and Mirror upgrades are the priority.
WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Sisyphus chamber Darkness
Sisyphus’s optional chamber in Tartarus during an escape attempt.
Before you go
- Begin an escape attempt and reach Tartarus.
- Have a Mirror of Night rank that you plan to fund with Darkness.
- Be prepared for the encounter not to appear in a given run.
Farming steps
- Check chamber choices as you progress through Tartarus.
- If a Sisyphus encounter appears, choose its chamber when it fits the run.
- Speak with Sisyphus and review the offered assistance.
- Select Darkness when it is available and Mirror ranks are your current bottleneck.
- Collect the chosen reward and continue the escape attempt.
- After returning to the House, spend the Darkness at the Mirror.
- Sisyphus can offer other forms of help, including Obols or health; choose based on what the run needs.
- Because the room is random, do not sacrifice a clearly better run reward while waiting for it.
Repeat, collect and use
Potentially repeatable on later runs, but the encounter is not guaranteed and occurs at most once in a run.
Common mistakes
- Planning a guaranteed Darkness route around Sisyphus; continue normal Tartarus chamber choices if he does not appear.
- Selecting Darkness when survival or another immediate run need matters more; evaluate the offered options.
- Forgetting to spend the reward after the attempt; use it at the Mirror between runs.
When to stop or switch
Take a different offered reward when the run needs it more, or stop targeting this source once the intended Mirror rank is funded.
