Retrieve a chest item through the Wellkeeper
Retrieving an eligible run drop makes it available in the camp stash so it can be used in later runs.

Retrieve a chest item through the Wellkeeper
A hall chest during a run, followed by the Wellkeeper and equipment stash at camp.
Before you go
- Unlock access to the Wellkeeper in camp.
- Reach a hall chest that offers eligible equipment.
- Have access to the Well interaction needed to send the item from the run.
Farming steps
- Enter a hall and progress toward a chest or boss encounter that can offer equipment.
- Open the chest and inspect the item instead of assuming every reward is the one you want.
- Use the Well flow to send the desired eligible item for retrieval.
- Finish the run and return to camp so the Wellkeeper can process the sent item.
- Open the Wellkeeper interface and complete the retrieval step shown for that item.
- Check the camp stash to verify the item is available there.
- Purchase or equip it from the stash before the next run, using the displayed camp options.
- Check the item’s status across found, sent, retrieved and stash states before replaying a hall.
- Retrieve gear that fills a clear build need rather than treating every chest drop as a must-have.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable for eligible equipment found in runs. Each item must be sent and retrieved through the Wellkeeper flow; finding a drop alone does not add it to the camp stash.
Common mistakes
- Leaving an item as run loot: send it through the Well before ending the run.
- Assuming the item is immediately usable: finish retrieval, then check and obtain it from the stash.
- Replaying before checking status: inspect the Wellkeeper and stash to avoid repeating work unnecessarily.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the intended item is retrieved and available in the stash; switch to a different gear target or hall objective afterward.
