Return to camp after a run and open the Shrine of Blessings.
Review the available upgrades and their costs before spending.
Choose an attribute that addresses a problem you have actually encountered in a run.
Purchase the Blessing and confirm that the camp shows it as active.
Start a later run and assess whether the improvement helps with the selected weakness.
When your needs change, revisit the Shrine and use its refund or reallocation option as available.
Spend future gold on the revised priority rather than buying upgrades without a purpose.

Blessings apply across heroes, so consider the roster rather than optimizing for a single character only.
Buy upgrades to fix a clear shortcoming; do not spend merely because gold is available.
