Before you go
- Defeat Lord of Greed in the Vault to unlock the Shrine.
- Have a character and equipment setup suited to the displayed hall and modifiers.
- Read the challenge’s current reward and rules in the Shrine interface.
Farming steps
- Open the Weekly Challenge Shrine and note the selected hall, active artifacts and challenge rules.
- Choose a character whose strengths address those rules; avoid relying on a normal-run artifact shard bonus.
- Enter the challenge and pursue the listed objectives while keeping the build alive and effective.
- Defeat the hall’s Lords when the challenge requires it, and maintain a steady pace toward a strong score.
- Finish the run and claim the Torment Shards shown for the result.
- Review the recorded score and identify one weakness to address before another attempt.
- Treat the displayed challenge conditions as the build brief; a strong general-purpose setup may not fit every week.
- Prioritize survival if a longer run lets you complete more objectives and preserve your score.
Repeat, collect and use
The challenge reward is tied to the current weekly setup; repeat runs during that week can improve your score and associated extra shard rewards. The Shrine’s setup changes with the weekly challenge.
Common mistakes
- Expecting normal Artifact Torment Shard bonuses: challenge runs do not use those bonuses; build for the challenge score instead.
- Starting without reading the active modifiers: check the Shrine first and choose a compatible character and gear.
- Repeating the same build after a weak result: use the recorded result to select one concrete adjustment.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have claimed the current challenge reward and further attempts are not improving the recorded score; return when the Shrine presents its next weekly setup.
