Before you go
- Unlock the named Crimson Calyx and have Trailblaze Power available.
- Need one of the Borisin Teeth tiers for a planned Phainon Trace upgrade.
Farming steps
- Open Phainon’s Trace screen and choose the next upgrade you intend to unlock.
- Note which Borisin Teeth tier is missing and the amount required.
- Open Survival Index > Calyx (Crimson) and locate Scalegorge Waterscape: Bud of Destruction.
- Check the reward preview for the needed Destruction material line and select an unlocked difficulty.
- Choose a team that can clear the encounter reliably, then defeat its waves.
- Spend Trailblaze Power at the reward prompt and collect the listed materials.
- Apply the materials to Phainon’s Trace, then check the following upgrade threshold before repeating.
- Check the reward preview for the material tier before spending Power.
- Review the complete Trace cost, including Credits and other materials, so this farm unlocks a usable upgrade.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable with Trailblaze Power; ordinary Calyx clears have no weekly claim cap.
Common mistakes
- Assuming every Destruction Calyx shares one pool: select the Scalegorge Waterscape stage and confirm its preview.
- Farming before checking the tier: compare the next Trace cost with your inventory first.
- Ignoring other costs: review the entire upgrade requirement before deciding how much to farm.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the next planned Trace is funded or another requirement blocks it. Resume when this material line is again the missing cost.
