Demigod’s Ascendance opens the Season 5 Pinnacle encounter when placed at the required Corruption level.
PC / Global, Season 5: Rage of the Frostborn (Patch 1.5)
WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
An Empowered Timeline Echo Web where Demigod’s Ascendance can be placed.
Pinnacle Morditas access requires both the Demigod’s Ascendance Woven Echo and 400 Corruption on the Timeline where you place it. The Echo is obtained after defeating standard Morditas. Corruption above the threshold does not make this encounter harder, so build only what is needed for access unless you have another reason to push further.
Defeat standard Morditas and obtain Demigod’s Ascendance.
Raise the relevant Timeline to 400 Corruption.
Choose the Empowered Timeline you intend to use for the Pinnacle Echo.
Build Stability through fresh Echoes and defeat the Timeline boss for Gaze of Orobyss.
Travel outward through the Echo Web and kill a Shade to raise Corruption.
Repeat the boss-and-Shade cycle until the relevant Timeline reaches 400 Corruption.
Open the Echo Web and confirm Demigod’s Ascendance is available to place.
Place the Woven Echo and enter the Pinnacle encounter.
Defeat Pinnacle Morditas and collect the resulting reward.
Farming tips
The 400 Corruption check applies to the Timeline where the Echo is placed; verify that web’s value.
Do not push beyond 400 for this encounter alone, because its difficulty does not scale with added Corruption.
Repeat, collect and use
The access route is repeatable only if you have another Demigod’s Ascendance Echo. Corruption raising is repeatable; the Echo itself is not guaranteed from a standard Morditas defeat.
Common mistakes
Having Corruption but no Woven Echo: defeat standard Morditas to obtain the required item.
Checking the wrong Timeline’s Corruption: verify the web where the Echo will be placed.
Pushing far beyond 400 for easier access: meet the threshold and stop unless another farm needs more.
When to stop or switch
Stop the Corruption push at 400 on the target Timeline, then place the Echo and attempt the boss.
