Timeline Boss-exclusive Uniques
The Timeline boss encounter revealed at the end of a Timeline’s Quest Echo progression.
Before you go
- Unlock the Timeline associated with the desired boss Unique.
- Build enough Stability for the boss quest to appear.
- Bring a character able to defeat that boss at the chosen Timeline difficulty.
Farming steps
- Identify which Timeline boss is associated with the Unique you want.
- Select that Timeline from the Monolith map.
- Run new Echoes and follow the Quest Echo chain until the boss quest opens.
- Complete the boss Echo and defeat the Timeline boss.
- Inspect the drops for the target Unique and any useful alternatives.
- If it did not drop, return to the Timeline web and build Stability again.
- Repeat the boss encounter, increasing difficulty only if your build can handle it.
- Empowered Timelines provide a stronger endgame reward context, but the boss drop remains random.
- Use a Prophecy that matches the boss event when available to add a targeted reward layer.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable: rebuild Stability and fight the Timeline boss again. The named Unique is a random drop, not a guaranteed clear reward.
Common mistakes
- Farming general Echoes for a boss-exclusive item: target its owning Timeline boss.
- Expecting every kill to drop the Unique: keep a realistic repeat loop and evaluate other useful drops.
- Raising difficulty beyond your clear speed: prioritize reliable kills over a risky tier.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you obtain the target or when another gear upgrade will improve future boss clears more than another attempt.
