Circle of Fortune Prophecies
Maj’Elka Observatory Telescopes, available after joining Circle of Fortune.
Before you go
- Reach Chapter 9 and unlock the item-faction system.
- Join Circle of Fortune.
- Earn Favor to interact with Prophecies.
Farming steps
- Travel to the Observatory in Maj’Elka and open a Telescope.
- Review available Prophecies and identify both their trigger and reward.
- Pick a Prophecy whose event fits your planned activity and desired item category.
- If available, use a Lens to shape the Prophecy pool before selecting.
- Complete the specified activity, such as the named boss or dungeon event.
- Collect the Prophecy reward drops and check them against your build or crafting plan.
- Return to the Observatory and spend Favor on the next useful Prophecy.
- A reward category is not a promise of a specific item or roll; plan for random outcomes.
- Circle of Fortune gear is untradeable, which suits self-found play rather than Bazaar trading.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable while you have Favor and useful Prophecies available. The reward is conditional and randomized, not a guaranteed named item.
Common mistakes
- Selecting a trigger you are unlikely to complete: choose a Prophecy aligned with your actual route.
- Ignoring the reward type: check whether it targets the gear category you need before spending Favor.
- Expecting trade access from Circle of Fortune: use the faction for enhanced self-found drops.
When to stop or switch
Stop selecting Prophecies when the target slot is filled or the next available reward no longer justifies the Favor; spend it later on a better match.
