Hotel Krat, using Sophia’s level-up service and the available shop services before returning to the boss route.
Ergo carried into a boss attempt is at risk if you fall before recovering it. Before you enter the arena, convert what you need into levels or practical items at Hotel Krat. This is a preparation routine rather than an Ergo farm: it helps preserve the value of a completed route and makes each attempt less costly.
Have reached Hotel Krat and unlocked its relevant services.
Know whether your next attempt needs levels, supplies, or both.
Return to Hotel Krat before starting another attempt at the boss.
Speak with Sophia and check the Ergo cost of the next level against your available balance.
Spend enough Ergo on levels to meet your current character goal, if that is the priority.
Check your equipment and repair needs, then use remaining currency on supplies that address a specific problem in the fight.
Keep any unused Ergo items in your inventory if you prefer to use them later; they are not the same as carried currency.
Return to the boss route only after deciding what amount of carried Ergo you are comfortable risking.
Farming tips
Spend against a clear need, such as reaching a level or replacing a depleted consumable, instead of buying items without a purpose.
If a level is nearly affordable, finish a safe enemy loop first and return to Sophia before attempting the boss.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat before each risky boss attempt whenever you have accumulated spendable Ergo. This routine does not generate currency; it converts what you have.
Common mistakes
Do not assume carried Ergo is protected during a failed attempt; plan to recover it or spend it first.
Do not spend all currency on supplies if leveling is the more valuable use for your build.
Do not count stored Ergo items as already banked currency; they remain available to use later.
When to stop or switch
Leave Hotel Krat once your intended levels and essential supplies are covered, and you are ready to risk the remaining carried balance.
