Unlock Overture access at the Pilgrim’s Path
Start the Overture expansion once the correct story and installation gates are met for your playthrough.
WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Unlock Overture access at the Pilgrim’s Path
Chapter V Path of the Pilgrim Stargazer, reached through Stargazer travel after the applicable access gate is met.
Before you go
- Own and install the Overture DLC.
- First playthrough: reach Chapter 9 and repair the Hotel Stargazer; later playthrough: reach Chapter 5 under update 1.9 access.
- Have access to Stargazer travel and the Chapter V Path of the Pilgrim destination.
Farming steps
- Confirm the expansion is installed and available for your game edition.
- On a first playthrough, progress through Chapter 9 and repair the Hotel Stargazer to unlock Star’s Chrysalis.
- On a later playthrough, use the Chapter 5 access condition described in the 1.9 update notes.
- Open Stargazer travel and select Chapter V, Path of the Pilgrim.
- Follow the in-game prompt or interaction that begins the Overture sequence.
- If nothing triggers, verify the DLC installation and confirm that your playthrough meets the appropriate gate.
- Continue into the expansion once the transition completes.
- Keep the first-playthrough and later-playthrough requirements separate; the earlier Chapter 5 gate is not the first-run route.
- Use the in-game item and travel prompt as confirmation that the gate is active.
Repeat, collect and use
Starting the expansion is a progression unlock, not a farm. Access can be triggered on each eligible playthrough, subject to the applicable gate.
Common mistakes
- Do not expect Chapter 5 access on a first playthrough; the Chapter 9 gate applies there.
- Do not overlook DLC ownership or installation if the prompt is missing.
- Do not travel to the Pilgrim’s Path before meeting your playthrough’s chapter condition.
When to stop or switch
Stop troubleshooting once the Overture transition begins; if it does not, verify installation and the correct playthrough gate before changing routes.
