Where to farm
Limbus Pass reward track, beyond its final planned reward level; earn Pass XP from Mirror Dungeon claims and listed missions.
After the season’s planned Limbus Pass rewards, further Pass XP can continue advancing EX levels. The free track provides Nominable Egoshard Crates, which let you direct shards toward a Sinner instead of receiving a fixed Sinner’s shards. This is a long-term collection route: use Pass XP from activities you already plan to do, then claim the crate rewards and reserve them for a specific Identity or E.G.O. The active track’s rewards and terms can change, so check the current Pass before investing time toward EX levels.
Have the current Limbus Pass available and be progressing its reward track.
Have a Dispenser target or a Sinner whose shard balance you intend to build.
Have access to activities that award Pass XP, such as Mirror Dungeon or listed missions.
Open the current Pass and inspect the free track’s rewards beyond its planned final level.
Confirm which EX-level rewards are available and whether they include Nominable Egoshard Crates.
Choose the Identity or E.G.O you are building toward and note which Sinner’s shards it requires.
Complete Mirror Dungeon runs or current missions that award Pass XP as part of your normal resource plan.
Return to the Pass track and claim each unlocked reward, including any EX-level crate.
Open the crate and select the intended Sinner, then check the shard balance in the Dispenser.
Repeat XP earning and claiming while the crate remains a useful step toward the target.
Farming tips
Save nominable crates until you have chosen a concrete Sinner target; opening them commits the shard choice.
Check the active season’s reward track before planning around EX rewards, since Pass contents can change.
Repeat, collect and use
EX-level rewards can be earned by continuing to gain Pass XP while the current track permits it. The reward lineup is season-specific; this is a Pass progression loop, not an unlimited fixed-rate crate farm.
Common mistakes
Spending nominable crates without a target: choose the Sinner first, then open them.
Assuming the prior season’s EX rewards still apply: inspect the current track before planning.
Treating crates as Thread: Egoshards support Dispenser purchases, while Thread is used for Upties and Threadspins.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the target Sinner has enough shards for the planned Dispenser purchase, or when the current track no longer offers a useful crate; use remaining Pass XP for other rewards or return to your main progression goal.
