Buy Large Deralium Shards from Gerlinde
Gerlinde’s smithing shop at Skyrest Bridge after you have freed her and advanced her stock through progression and relevant tablet deliveries.
Before you go
- Rescue Gerlinde and return her to the smithing shop at Skyrest Bridge.
- Advance the game and her stock until Large Deralium Shards appear in the shop.
- Have Vigor available for the purchase and a weapon whose next upgrade calls for this material tier.
Farming steps
- At Gerlinde’s forge, open the shop after returning to Skyrest Bridge.
- Inspect the listed Deralium items and confirm that Large Deralium Shards are in stock.
- At the forge upgrade interface, check the exact material tier required for the weapon you intend to improve.
- Buy only the number of Large Shards that fits that planned upgrade, rather than spending Vigor on a tier you cannot yet use.
- Return to the upgrade interface, select the intended weapon, and apply the upgrade if you have all required materials.
- If the shard is absent, continue progression or deliver the relevant tablet, then check her stock again.
- If you are short on Vigor, prioritize a needed level and return to the shop later.
- Compare the upgrade menu’s requirement with Gerlinde’s stock immediately before spending; tiers are not interchangeable.
- Concentrate purchases on the weapon you rely on most so the material produces a useful improvement.
Repeat, collect and use
Renewable as a shop purchase while Gerlinde’s stock offers the item and you can pay its Vigor cost; the stock gate is progression-based.
