Use Chaos Dungeon Rest Bonus to catch up

Rest Bonus lets you recover some rewards after missed Chaos Dungeon days, making it useful when you cannot spend Aura every reset.

PC / Global (Western servers)
WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Open Chaos Dungeon through Alt+Q or the Content Guide. At Item Level 1640 or higher, the interface may show the Kazeros War Map for Kurzan Front; choose Chaos Dungeon for this Rest Bonus…

Use Rest Bonus to improve a later Chaos Dungeon clear after missing daily entries. For every 100 Aura of Resonance left unused at reset, you gain 20 Rest Bonus, up to 200. At 40 or more Rest Bonus, a Chaos Dungeon clear grants twice the loot. Rest Bonus does not provide entry Aura, and it does not make Kurzan Front a Rest Bonus clear: both activities draw from the same daily Aura, but the doubled-loot rule described here applies to Chaos Dungeon. Enter at the level closest to your item level, finish the waves, then collect and use the resulting progression materials.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Open Chaos Dungeon through Alt+Q or the Content Guide. At Item Level 1640 or higher, the interface may show the Kazeros War Map for Kurzan Front; choose Chaos Dungeon for this Rest Bonus route.

Before you go

  • Complete Afterimages of the Rift in North Vern and have at least 100 Aura of Resonance to enter.
  • Select a Chaos Dungeon level appropriate to your current item level.
  • Have at least 40 Rest Bonus for the doubled-loot clear.
  1. Check your Aura and Rest Bonus in the activity interface before entering.
  2. Choose the Chaos Dungeon level closest to your item level; do not select Kurzan Front for this doubled-loot route.
  3. Equip a pet to automatically collect dropped loot.
  4. Enter and defeat enemies to fill the Purification Gauge.
  5. When a portal opens, pass through and continue defeating enemies until the gauge reaches 100%.
  6. Complete the clear and collect its rewards; leaving early forfeits the spent Aura and possible loot.
  7. Review the materials and use them for eligible progression, or save them for a planned honing step.

Farming tips

  • Rest Bonus is a catch-up reserve, not entry energy: make sure you have the required Aura before starting.
  • Use a pet so wave drops are collected as you move through the dungeon.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeat on later days when you have both Aura and Rest Bonus to spend. Unused daily Aura builds Rest Bonus at reset; the reserve caps at 200. The doubled-loot rule here applies to Chaos Dungeon clears, not Kurzan Front.

Common mistakes

  • Entering Kurzan Front expecting the Chaos Dungeon doubled-loot bonus; select Chaos Dungeon for this route.
  • Treating Rest Bonus as extra Aura; confirm you have enough Aura to enter.
  • Leaving before the Purification Gauge is full; finish the activity to avoid losing the spent Aura and possible loot.

When to stop or switch

Stop after the clear that uses the Rest Bonus you intended to spend, or when you have no Aura left for another entry. Save remaining Aura for a later Chaos Dungeon or use it on another eligible activity according to your tier.
