The Night of the Yeti event interface and its Hunter-versus-Yeti match queue, when listed as active in GMS.
Before you go
- A live Night of the Yeti event window in the GMS client
- A character eligible to enter the event mode
- Event points or match participation opportunity
Farming steps
- Open the event interface and confirm Night of the Yeti is currently available.
- Read the event’s role rules and objective before queuing as Hunter or Yeti.
- Join a match and play toward the role’s listed objective rather than treating it like ordinary field grinding.
- Complete any event objectives that award points in the current event panel.
- Check the event-point balance and reward milestones after matches.
- Redeem wanted rewards through the event interface before the event ends.
- The mode is asymmetric: adjust your actions to the role assigned for each match.
- Event guides describe a limited activity; use the in-client rules and listed reward panel for the current run.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat matches only while the event is active and its point rewards remain available. The event itself is limited and may not be running in the current version.
Common mistakes
- Searching for the queue when no event is active; verify its listing first.
- Playing without checking role objectives; read the current match instructions before entering.
- Finishing matches but leaving points unspent; claim eligible rewards before the event window closes.
When to stop or switch
Stop when desired event rewards are claimed or the event ends. Switch back to permanent progression activities outside the event window.
