Moonshadow Mission Book Objectives

Before you go
- Unlock the permanent Aamon mission system.
- Have access to the zone or activity named by the active objective.
- Keep the mission board’s current task and counter visible or check it between activities.
Farming steps
- Open the permanent mission board and inspect the monthly objectives available to your character.
- Accept the mission-book objective and any related Moonshadow or Sombre Plateau task before starting a session.
- Read each objective’s target and counter so you know which books, locations, or actions count.
- Complete eligible mission-book work alongside ordinary zone farming where possible.
- If the board includes boss or area tasks, take those during the same trip only when they fit the objective requirements.
- Return to the board when the counters are complete and claim the listed Orisons or crafting rewards.
- Check for remaining monthly tasks before ending the session, then prioritize any that share your next route.
- Use the board’s own counter to verify progress; similar activities may not count toward a specific task.
- Batch objectives by location when the board lists compatible Moonshadow or Sombre Plateau work.
Repeat, collect and use
Monthly cycle. The mission system is permanent, but the available objectives and reward details are limited to the active board cycle and can vary.
Common mistakes
- Starting a long session before accepting the objective; accept it first so eligible work counts.
- Assuming every mission book or boss advances the same counter; confirm the specific requirement in the board.
- Claiming a reward and overlooking other completed monthly tasks; review all counters before switching goals.
When to stop or switch
Finish the current monthly book objectives when their counters are complete and rewards claimed; switch to another board task or regular farming until the next cycle.
