Anomaly 6-star Anomaly Research at the Quest Counter for Blood Orange Bishaten, Somnacanth, Jyuratodus, or Shogun Ceanataur.
Before you go
- Sunbreak Anomaly Research unlocked.
- Access to a 6-star Anomaly Research hunt for one of the four named monsters.
- A recipe or crafting goal that calls for Afflicted Shell.
Farming steps
- Open Qurious Crafting and note how many Afflicted Shells the selected recipe still requires.
- At the Quest Counter, open Anomaly Research and inspect eligible 6-star options.
- Choose Blood Orange Bishaten, Somnacanth, Jyuratodus, or Shogun Ceanataur.
- Prepare for the selected monster and post its Anomaly Research hunt.
- Complete the quest and finish its normal reward process.
- Check the reward results and inventory for Afflicted Shell.
- Return to Qurious Crafting and use the shells if the recipe is ready.
- Choose the named monster whose matchup and available quest conditions suit you.
- Check the recipe before each farming session so your target quantity stays clear.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat eligible 6-star Anomaly Research hunts until the needed quantity is reached. It is a repeatable reward farm, not a one-time unlock.
Common mistakes
- Using an ordinary hunt: post the Anomaly Research version at the specified tier.
- Selecting a monster outside the four named sources: use one of the listed targets.
- Counting ground drops as confirmed Shell sources: check the Anomaly reward results and inventory.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the selected recipe has enough Afflicted Shells; switch to its next missing material.
