Before you go
- Complete Chapter 4’s Wyvern Sparks and Rose Thorns assignment.
- Collect three Artian Materials of the types required for the chosen weapon.
- Use materials of one matching rarity.
Farming steps
- Complete the assignment that unlocks Artian weapon forging.
- At Gemma’s Smithy, open the Artian weapon forge menu and select a weapon type.
- Review its three required material categories: Blade, Device, Disc, or Tube combinations vary.
- Check rarity, element, and Artian Bonus on each material before choosing.
- Use three materials of matching rarity.
- For a chosen element, select at least two pieces with that element; use three for the greater element increase.
- Confirm the forge, review stats, and decide whether to reinforce the weapon.
- Choose weapon type and desired element before spending materials; two matching elements guarantee the result’s element.
- Attack Infusion and Affinity Infusion are distinct bonuses; compare their labels with your build.
Repeat, collect and use
Craft again when you have the required materials. Each weapon consumes three Artian Materials; this is not a guaranteed hunt reward loop.
Common mistakes
- Mixing material rarities; all three pieces must match.
- Assuming one material determines the element; use at least two with a shared element.
- Selecting pieces without checking weapon type; confirm the required categories in Gemma’s menu.
When to stop or switch
Stop forging when type, element, and infusion suit your build. Switch to reinforcement or gather materials for a different combination.
