High Rank roaming monsters on a region map; Alma registers and launches saved Investigations.
Before you go
- Reach High Rank and unlock Field Investigations.
- Have access to Alma and enough Guild Points for registration, as shown in game.
- Decide whether your build needs weapon or armor decorations.
Farming steps
- Open the world map and review roaming monsters in available regions.
- Select a candidate and inspect its guaranteed reward list.
- Choose a hunt that lists the orb type and rarity relevant to your goal.
- Ask Alma to save that roaming hunt as an Investigation.
- Launch the saved hunt through Alma and complete it.
- Collect the results and let any orbs appraise automatically at hunt completion.
- At a tent or Gemma’s Smithy, equip useful jewels in compatible slots and set aside spares for melding.
- Read the reward preview before registering; the monster name alone does not reveal whether the listed orbs suit your build.
- Use limited Investigation attempts on reward sets you would be happy to claim more than once.
Repeat, collect and use
Limited per saved Investigation: one saved hunt can be completed up to three times. Register another suitable roaming monster when its attempts are used.
Common mistakes
- Registering before checking guaranteed rewards; inspect the preview first.
- Expecting to choose the jewel from an orb; appraisal is random, while targeted melding is a separate option.
- Assuming a jewel equips itself; slot it manually in compatible equipment.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the build’s needed jewels are covered or the saved hunt is spent. Switch to a better reward preview or meld spare decorations to address a specific gap.
