Augment weapons with Health Regen

Before you go

Own Iceborne and unlock weapon augmentation.
Fully upgrade the weapon along its tree as required for augmentation.
Check the exact Health Regen recipe for the weapon’s rarity and current augment state.

At the Smithy, open Augment Equipment and select the weapon.
Choose Health Regen and inspect every required material and quantity.
Write down any Guiding Lands monster, Tempered monster, or gathering material in the recipe.
Raise the needed region and use tracks or lures to make the listed target available.
Hunt the target or gather the regional node material, then verify each item in inventory.
Return to the Smithy and apply Health Regen once all requirements are met.
Test the effect on attacks during a later hunt and review further augment options only if needed.

Rarity affects augment material costs and available slots; inspect the selected weapon rather than assuming another weapon’s recipe applies.
Avoid overwriting an augment casually: materials used for previous weapon augmentation are not returned.

Applying the augment is a one-time material spend for that weapon state. Repeat the farming loop only for another weapon or a later augment change.

Farming from a generic list without opening the weapon’s recipe: requirements vary by rarity and state.
Assuming an augment can be refunded: overwritten materials are lost, so decide before applying.
Trying before the weapon is eligible: fully upgrade it and check the Smithy’s unlock state.

Stop when Health Regen is applied and you have enough recovery for your build; switch to another recipe only if its benefit fits your weapon use.
