Active Monoliths zone after defeating Maxare’xek the Mad.
Before you go
- Level 20 or higher and access to the active event zone.
- A live Maxare’xek spawn and enough nearby players to defeat it.
- Local event objectives to use the buff on.
Farming steps
- Check the event panel and enter the currently active zone.
- Look for Maxare’xek the Mad or a group fighting the roaming boss.
- Join and help defeat the boss, following its visible encounter cues.
- Collect the credited reward and verify the one-hour damage buff appears.
- Choose nearby local objectives from the campaign challenge list.
- Complete those objectives while the buff is active.
- Switch activities when the buff expires or your local targets are finished.
- The spawn is periodic, so do not let waiting for it consume a session when other objectives are available.
- The buff applies within the zone; plan local activities before leaving the area.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat whenever a new boss spawn is available and you want another buff. The buff itself is temporary and cannot be farmed on demand.
Common mistakes
- Assuming the buff applies outside the zone: stay in the event region to benefit.
- Waiting indefinitely for a boss: do other tasks if it is not present.
- Forgetting to verify the buff: check status effects before planning the one-hour route.
When to stop or switch
Stop after your buff-window objectives are complete or the hour ends; continue with the event panel’s remaining challenges.
