Before you go
- Level 20 or higher and access to the active Monoliths zone.
- A periodic boss appearance; it may not be present when you arrive.
- Nearby players to help defeat the roaming encounter.
Farming steps
- Check the campaign panel and travel to the active event zone.
- Look for the roaming boss encounter or a nearby group engaging Maxare’xek.
- Join the fight and follow the encounter’s combat cues.
- Stay engaged until the group defeats the boss and your contribution is recognized.
- Collect the event reward shown for your participation.
- Confirm the one-hour zone damage buff is active in your status effects.
- Use the remaining buff time on nearby event objectives, altars, or encounters.
- The boss appears every few hours, so treat it as a look-and-see activity rather than a scheduled daily.
- Defeat it before your other event tasks when possible to use the full buff window.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat whenever the boss spawns and you want its reward or buff. The appearance is periodic, not a guaranteed daily activity.
